The power steering failed, fortunately while the vehicle was still in the driveway. The vehicle is used for daily commuting at highway speeds, so it was very lucky that it failed when the potential damage was minimized. I had to replace the steering gear assembly at a cost of $1872.69, invoice enclosed.
