My powersteering and advantrac both are still acting crazy. I was told that my vin wasn't apart of the same recall that is currently issued for my 2012 ford fusion. At random times the powersteering notfication and advanctrac alert with come and my steering will with completely lock up with very little time from the alert. This has happened with both intown and highway driving.

2012 fusion with 62,000 miles. When stationary, it makes a sound when you turn the steering wheel just slightly either way. Mechanic says the electric rack and pinion is the problem and it sounds like this is a common issue. I don't think i should be having this issue at only 62,000 miles. This is a very expensive fix. Sounds to me like there should be a recall on this.
