Takata recall- ford does not have a remedy available for my vehicle. They sent me a letter stating to not have anyone sit in the front passenger seat due to possible injury or death. When contacting ford customer care they refused to give me a rental until a remedy is available and refuse to take responsibilty if something should happen to a passenger in my vehicle.

Takata recall: still waiting 2 years later for airbag to be replaced. All the while noone is supposed to ride in the passenger seat? Ford should be held responsible and they should be reimbursing us for time and inconvenience. My car has been under a safety recall for 2 years and the front seat is unusable. Ford has no idea when they will fix this. What do i do? Drive around in a dangerous car? Do you force ford at some point to buy the cars back or give us money to compensate - i am at a loss as to what i am supposed to do and what nhtsa does in this case.
