Broken shift selection cable. Similar to other recalls with this make and model (18v471000 and 19v362000) . It was stationary, i was able to put the car in park and remove my key but the transmission was set to neutral. If the car was on an incline it would have rolled and caused a crash.

Only way i could get my car to stop was putting on the emergency break.
